Yep- he sure can! With a personality to boot! This little man is so busy and has such a personality. He's into everything and has an insatiable curiousity. It's truly amazing to see.

I can't even remember what life was like without my little Bug and his cheerfulness. Matt says this will turn into zaniness at a later age. This is probably true, and I think Matt is doing his best to encourage this. Yes, silliness has overtaken our household. Random dances, crazy made-up songs, and lots of peek-a-book gaming has turned us all into crazy people.

Oh well, at least we all speak the same language. Here's to the household you hate to see coming!

Today at daycare, Matthew pulled himself up to a stand- all by
himself! We've been working with him on this for the past couple of
weeks. Luckily, Lori snapped a picture the moment it happened. I have
to say, he doesn't seem so sure about this standing stuff yet. By the
time I pick him up, I bet he'll be everywhere.

Help! Someone strap down my bookshelves!

Just a note to say hello and let you know how well Matthew's 9 month checkup went. He is in the 95th percentile for height at 30" tall, and in the 75th percentile for weight at almost 22 pounds. He actually lost a little weight from a few weeks ago, probably due to how active he is!

So what's Matthew up to these days?
- army crawling
- waving "hello"
- saying "mama", "dada", and "baba"
- he's got 8 teeth
- pulling himself up to his knees
- learning to eat "big boy" food and use his sippy cup
- starting to sleep better at night!
